Hello,

I have been using CCS64 on and off for a long time, upwards of ten years, so I am not new to the emulator. However, I recently got into it again, and am using 3.9.

The problem that is new to me this time around is I cannot get D64 files written. For example, I like to play Seven Cities Of Gold, and one of its features is for it to randomly generate a world map for you on a blank disc. I created the blank disc and went through the world map generation routine; no error was ever given by the system or the game. I went to play the game using this map, and the supposedly newly generated map disc was blank! I checked the "Date Modified" on it via Windows, and it had not changed since the time I had created the blank disc. So, for whatever reason, the data being written to the disc is not being held on to.

The only thing I have tried to do is choose to run CCS64 as an Administrator in case that was affecting the write routine, but it did not change the outcome. Would welcome any help!

Just make sure that 1541 Saving is set to Continuously. Beyond that, perhaps there is some strange permissions issue in Windows.
