Use the version from GB64: http://gamebase64.hardabasht.com/games/c1/CLYSTRON_01536_01.zip

The glitch:

I use CCS64 v3.5 + Kernal v3, and the pixels are still missing.

As I said, the presence of the glitch on a real C64 was verified, which suggests an inaccuracy exists in CCS64.

Hoxs64 v1.0.5.17 still displays the same as a real C64.

Clystron missing glitch

Hi,

in the game Clystron, there's a visual bug, which CCS64 doesn't seem to emulate. It's a few stray pixels visible every couple of frames when you go to the right. I have verified that this glitch appears on a real C64. Below is the screenshot I took from Hoxs64, which shows the missing flaw ...

This happens when you assign the same key configuration for both joystick ports. Make sure to configure just 1 port and then use port switching.

I am informed that this is fixed if you change the Memory Reset Pattern setting, so the game must be relying upon some particular hardware configuration of memory data.
Could it be it relies on the REAL C64 memory pattern? For some odd reason, what is called a "normal" memory pattern in CCS64 is ...

What you are seeing there is not a graphical glitch, but is the next line of textual information ("GRAPHICS BY ANDREW SLEIGH") being scrolled. I can see no problems.
I wasn't referring to the next line, but to the white flicker under the Platoon logo. It is there with the rev3 Kernal as well.

The Platoon bug wasn't fixed in all versions before 3.3. However I tried version 3.3 today and the horizontal small line is gone. So it's fixed now. Probably the line was related to some of the improvements in version 3.3.
Great it's fixed now. It was one of those bugs that were in for a very long ...
