Re: Sound bug in Comaland 2014
Just a bit curious if Hakan was able to fix this bug.
I know he's a very, very busy guy, but some info would be great.

Re: Sound bug in Comaland 2014
That's great Stuart. I know Hakan is busy, so we just have to be patient. It's just good to know Hakan has a lead how to fix it now.
It's quiet in C64 emulation land, but that's because all emulators are already close to perfection.

Re: Sound bug in Comaland 2014
I just looked in the histry of Hoxs64 and noticed this sound bug was also present in versions before Hoxs 1.0.8.8
The history.txt mentions this "Sound improvement fix for last part of Comaland 2014" as one of the fixes in version 1.0.8.8
Maybe Hakan can contact David Horrocks, the programmer of ...

Re: Issues with CCS64 v3.9.2
There might be another reason it's working now.
I use Windows 10 release 1511 now. That's a different Windows 10 version than I used when I had the problems.
So it could be fixed because of Visual Studio 2015, but the 1511 build of Windows 10 can also be the solution.

Re: Issues with CCS64 v3.9.2
It seems to work fine now. Thanks!
It starts with a black screen and initializing the blue screen takes a few seconds. Apart from that it works just fine

Re: Issues with CCS64 v3.9.2
After reading about this bug I also tried repproducing it.
I used the latest version 3.9.2 dated september 8. So I think this is the "corrected" version. To prevent confusion it might be better to increase the version number I think.
3.9.2.1 or something like that.
Just want to let you know I can ...

Re: CCS64 on Windows 10
Yes I did.
It works perfect in Windows 10. Just as it did in Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.

Re: Graphic glitches in Edge of Disgrace demo
Great news Stuart.
I understand Hakan has very little time. No rush intended at all.
I'm happy he's fixing the very few remaining bugs.
To be honest I can only think of two things to fix.
First the sound bug in comaland I mentioned in another thread.
Second a little better default setting for the ...

Re: Sound bug in Comaland 2014
Thanks for all your effort Stuart. I appreciate it.
The video you made is exactly what I hear on my PC. All the noise you hear shouldn't be there. At least not this much. I tried it on vice, Hoxs an even a real C64 (the C model) and it sounds a whole lot better than the video. There is also some ...

Re: Sound bug in Comaland 2014
Yes, I tried adjusting the fileters, but it didn't help.
I even disabled the filters, but it doesn't improve.
It sounds a whole lot better in Vice and Hoxs64. I hope Hakan can fix this bug.
The default filter settings in CCS64 seem to be a problem by the way. A lot of sid songs sound weird because ...

Sound bug in Comaland 2014
I just runned a very impressive demo called Comaland 2014 on CCS64.
Most of it runs great however in the final part (on disk 4) a bowl is showed and names are falling down in it.
Also some sampled music is played.
To be honest this sounds terrible and I believe it's a CCS64 bug.

Re: CCS64 V3.9.1 release...
Thanks for the info Stuart and good to hear Hakan is stll trying to fix the glitch.
I can imagine the problem is very hard to find.
No need to rush things. I think a good graphic debuging system is something that can be of great use in case of future problems.
